TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1 · Purpose
These terms and conditions govern all sales made through trylonnis.com between LONNIS and its customers.
Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. They take precedence over any other conditions, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing beforehand.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force on the day you place it.
2 · Products
Our products are printed books. They are presented as accurately as possible: photographs, descriptions, page counts, dimensions and materials.
Photographs illustrating the products are not contractually binding. Slight variations in the shade of the cover material or the gilding between print runs are normal and affect neither the quality nor the content of the book.
Our books contain daily readings, scripture and written prayers. They are not medical, psychological or therapeutic products, and they are not a substitute for professional support. If you are going through a difficult period, we encourage you to speak to a doctor, a counsellor or someone you trust.
3 · Prices
Prices are shown in US dollars, excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are stated before final confirmation of your order.
Depending on your delivery address, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply on arrival. These are payable by you and are not included in the price shown.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in force at the moment the order is recorded.
Promotional offers are valid while stocks last and for the period indicated.
4 · Ordering
The ordering process takes place in several stages: product selection, cart review, entry of your details, choice of delivery and payment method, then final confirmation.
Confirming your order constitutes acceptance of these terms, of the prices and of the products selected. A confirmation email summarising your order is sent to you.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that appears abnormal, or that comes from a customer with whom a dispute is ongoing.
5 · Availability
Our offers are valid for as long as they are visible on the site and while stocks last.
Our books are produced in limited print runs. If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund the item concerned in full.
6 · Payment
Payment is made online at the time of ordering, using the methods offered on the site.
Transactions are secured by our payment provider. We never have access to your full card details.
Your order is only processed once payment has been confirmed.
7 · Delivery
We ship worldwide.
Orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 working hours of payment confirmation. Delivery then takes 3 to 6 working days within the United States, and 5 to 12 working days for international destinations.
These timeframes are indicative and do not constitute a firm commitment. A delay does not give rise to cancellation or compensation, except where it exceeds thirty days, in which case you may cancel the order.
A tracking number is sent to you on dispatch. It is your responsibility to check that your delivery address is correct: an error in the address that results in a return or a second dispatch remains at your expense.
If your parcel arrives damaged or an item is missing, contact us as soon as possible with photographs.
8 · Right of withdrawal
You have fourteen days from receipt of your order to withdraw from the purchase, without needing to give a reason.
To exercise this right, inform us by email at contact@trylonnis.com before the deadline expires. Products must be returned to us within fourteen days of that notification, in their original condition and in intact packaging.
Return shipping costs are payable by you, unless the product is defective or we made an error.
Books that have been written in, marked, or personalised on the dedication page cannot be returned under this right, as they can no longer be resold.
Refunds are issued within fourteen days of receiving the returned goods, to the payment method used for the order.
9 · 60-day satisfaction guarantee
Separately from the legal right of withdrawal above, we offer a commercial guarantee of sixty days from receipt of your order.
If the book is not what you hoped for, write to us at contact@trylonnis.com within that period and we will refund you — including if you have already read part of it.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights. It is limited to one order per customer.
10 · Statutory rights
Regardless of any commercial guarantee, we remain bound by the legal guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects, under the conditions set out in applicable consumer law.
11 · Liability
Our books are produced in accordance with applicable regulations.
We cannot be held liable for damage arising from misuse of the site, from an interruption of service beyond our control, or from the intervention of a third party.
The content of our books is written for reflection and remembrance. We cannot be held liable for the personal interpretation a reader may make of it.
12 · Personal data
The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer of the site.
13 · Intellectual property
All elements of the site and of our books — texts, prayers, stories, images, logos, trademarks and descriptions — are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, distribution or use without our prior written authorisation is prohibited.
This includes reproducing pages of the book, in whole or in part, in any format, whether printed, digital or on social media, beyond the limits of private use.

15 · Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, we invite you to contact us first so that we can find an amicable solution.
If no agreement is reached, you may bring the matter before the competent courts.

16 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the place of establishment of LONNIS. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts, subject to the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
